Good show. They were on. Wolfgang was walking all over the stage. Did a good job but definitely no MA. But OK for age 16.
I have seen Dave about 7 years ago. He was great then but his voice was really good this time. He must be practicing. He told a story while strumming an accoustic and then started in on ice cream man.
Alex - Great drum solo. He is really good.
Eddie was definitely not drunk. Jumping all over, laughing and having a hell of a time. At one point he stood there and jumped in the air counterclockwise 360 degrees. Played his Peavey most of the night but did whip out 3 different Charvels for about 5 or 6 songs. The Peavey seemed to have more of a Les Paul tone to it - awesome crunch sounds. The Charvels seemed to be more articulate and cut through better on the solos.
Eddies solos were OK. He is more loosey goosey - personally I prefer more technical players. But where he really shines is the sound scapes he creates between his rhythms, solos and fills. Outstanding. And his tone was friggen killer - some of the best guitar tone I have heard. Up there with Schenker for tone.
They only came out for a one song encore which was a bummer.
But a good show.
