  • Dweezil and his Charvel "Greenie"

I don't know if this was posted but....The lyrics leave much to be desired, but the playing is spot on. Plus I like the cutie

Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions.

I think the singer is Moonunit, isn't it?

Yep, that's her. You can kinda tell in the vid that Dweezil's guitar has a little bit of metallic in it that our ltd. run green guitars don't have. Some still shots of it really show the difference, kind of a goldish glow.

His playing isn't half bad, either.
Too bad (imho) they didn't inherit the masterful songwriting skills of Papa.
And, she's a bit too wordy. Let's talk about it...

Wow what a MTV flash back.
This came out around the time Dweezil was a VJ.
Why did the Dweezel run only have one H setup?
I always thought moon was hot.

Have you seen any of the Zappa Plays Zappa tours? His playing is off-the-charts amazing now. Of course, he's playing an SG and a Strat now like Frank did. I'd love to see him break out the Greenie guitar, but I'm sure he doesn't bring it on tour.

Actually Frank's only hit was written with Moonunit. I think "wordy" describes her perfectly. Some people will probably remember this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eEvLzoSVsw

I think Dweezil and Moonunit had their own sitcom back then too, but it didn't last long. I thought it was kinda cool.

Not a big fan of his tone, but I sure did love watching moon dance around at the end!
