    Pat Metheny covering Norah Jones' hit "don't know why" and he does so using a baritone guitar that is tuned with a little twist. The whole guitar is tuned in a low A but his G string is tuned up a full octave and his B string is tuned down a full octave. and what kind of result does that yield?

    What does that yield? Heavenly tone! Wow..that was great.
    I doubt i could ever get my thumb involved that much tho.. cool doing
    his own walking bass line. Thanks for sharing this! You cost me another
    hour of my life...cause now i have to check out 8 or 9 other Metheny
    vids!

        Check this out, Metheny is known for his many crazy custom guitars. Here he plays a half scale Custom Ibanez tuned up a full octave but boy does he get some beautiful tones from it...
