I like some of his music and I'd love to be able to play the guitar anything like him, but I don't know him personally so who can tell what he's like.
I even went into Sounds Great just outside Manchester today to see one of the frankenstrats, but the buggers has sold it and the other one they had. So I had to make do with looking at some heavy relic strats instead. I didn't try one as I had my credit card with me...Fwopping, you know you want to!

He made plenty of humble and self deprecating comments in that interview, and it was a very interesting interview with a lot of insight by a guy who's playing was revolutionary.
Anyway, even if EVH was as arrogant as Ric Flair, it wouldn't detract one bit from my enjoyment of the music.Comment

DAMN!!! and I thought David Lee Roth was the dick head in VH. I've read more recent interviews with Eddie and he didn't seem that bad. Maybe he was just young and on drugs or something.
