  • Is this video legit?????

I found this on youtube. It claims to be Wolfgang VH getting "beat up" on stage (playfully). The part that gets me is.... look who's "beating him up!" The only thing that seems not right is Eddie's hair. It's too long. I was just curious if this really happened. Anybody know if it's a legit video? No matter what it is humorous.:ROTF:

Funny video of Wolfgang getting beat up by Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony! Taken at the Staples center in Los Angeles in 8-20-04.

Looks like they were just having a bit of fun. I say 'legit'.

Well if the original posters question is were they really beating him up. Then the answer is of course no. They were playing around.

Now that I think about it, what is the point of the original post? Are you trying to say that you think this is a fake video? Or was Wolfie really assaulted by Sammy and Mike?

              Kind of a goofy post.

Well....if you really read my original post you would see that I understood that he wasn't really getting beat up. Hence the word PLAYFULLY!!!

The original reason I made this post was because when I saw this I wasn't sure if it was real or not. Being that they are on tour now WITHOUT Sammy and Mike, it was surprising to see that onstage. It was an innocent question that I was curious about and was hoping someone here with more knowledge about it would know. And I got just the answer I was looking for.

                Kind of a goofy post
Finally....I thought the only dumb questions were the questions NOT ASKED!!! Sorry if you think my question was goofy but that was not it's intention and I could give a RAT'S ASS if YOU think it's goofy. Apparently no one else did because I got real honest answers from other forum members here. If you don't like the question, don't respond. Don't come on here and give your wise assed comments where they are not wanted.

To the others on here who REALLY UNDERSTOOD the original question I asked, thanks for the honest answers.

                  Whatever get all pissy.

If you bother to look at the post you will see that I honestly answered your question with pictures for proof. As a matter of fact I'm the only one that let you know it was from 2004. If I didn't let you know that you would probably be wondering when Sammy and Mike were allowed on this tour.:ROTF:

Then you would probably post another goofy thread asking for video of the concert where Sammy and Mike joined DLR on stage.

I'm sorry I called your post goofy.

I should have realize that you didn't have the common sense to figure out it was from the 04 tour. My mistake.

I guess the description of the video from youtube didn't give you a clue either. Brainiac!!

Dude, does Eddie need to look at a tab book now to play his songs (look at the bottom of the second picture Vince posted; I have that book).

Man who pissed in your cereal this morning? Since when is posting an honest question all of a sudden become no good if some ass here thinks that's it's not worthy of being asked? I know it was your honest answer the first time and I thank you for it. Why the second post all of a sudden taking cracks at me?

If I wasn't above the childish response you just made here, I would really tell you where to shove that comment. You've taken a great experience here with what I thought were all great people and changed my opinion. Who are you to call me names like this. What was so wrong with my question? I thought it was an honest one. I've seen a lot worse around here. If I was sarcastic about it or to you first, I could see where your comments would be coming from. But that wasn't what happened. I prompted none of this. Like I said, you don't know me, or anything about me. Maybe you should crawl back under the rock you live under and chill for a while!

                          LOL,

I was dead center front row,if you saw the stage it came to a little point, and that was in front on me. So I was literally like 1 foot from the stage, so everyone was handing me shit to put on the stage because Sammy would actually sit there every now and then and sign things and hand them to me to give back to whoever they belonged to.

I was so close Ed personally gave me 3 picks that night, not tossed them and I caught(actually got 2 more that just fell in front of me). He actually stuck his hand out to me and put it in my hand and shook it a few times. That night was awesome. Unfortunately all I had was my camera phone, but they didn't give a crap as everyone around me was busting out their point and shoots, again people kept handing me their cameras to take pics. In that 1st pic I actually got all gay and put my hand on Ed's leg when he was playing. He was cool as shit that night and just gave me a high five.

If that's 2004, I'm surprised Eddie had those cabinets with the EVH logos on them (check out the last 3 secs of the vid). They look almost identical to the current 5150 III's.
