he's at the house of blues in dallas, he's been doing "train" stuff... solo work... and some great covers...

    here's "whole lotta love"

    sorry for the late review...

i think this guy is very talented, he has an old school mentality to his music and shows. there were bass solo's, keyboard solo's, drum solo's,
and a lyric only song with no mic (in dallas' house of blues main room) . http://youtube.com/watch?v=KPNtLgTPPtA

then he plays up to the crowd introducing his band... on drums... on the bass... and keys... then he introduces his guitarist, in his words "you know i've played with some outstanding players, but this guy is just ridiculous... luis give the people what they want"... out trots Luis Carlos Maldonado... sporting a white les paul, marshall head, sitting on a hiwatt 4x12 cab. blazing some scales behind his head over his head on his way to his knees, and let me tell you if you ever get a chance to see this kid or pat monahan invest the money... flat out best show i've ever been too. Luis is definately a Gibson man with LP a SG both white in color, then a SG doubleneck like jimmy page's and a black Fender Stratocaster, has anyone here ever heard of this guitarist? his influences definately ring thru in his playing.

    here's his web site http://luisguitar.com/
