    Carvin, Neck thru i think, all maple, Kahler trem, JB in the bridge, DImarzio in the neck, two vol, two tone....24 frets

        I believe he played Carvin DC125's and DC127's. Back then.. Carvin DC's were set neck.

            I did some research, and I figured out it had to have been made in 1989, (same year as the clinic), because of the body shape, strap button location, and the fact that carvin had only been stealing jackson's headstock since '88 (Also Kalher's weren't offered until 89). Carvin was much like Jackson before 1990 with no strict production models. set necks in 88, neck-thru in 89. DC127's didn't exist. Most likely a "custom" DC200/ DC125 (It shares features of both). Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

              i think it was acustom made for him (it would have to be with those specs??), i'm sure he talks aout it on his website - i beleiev he mentions it as being his favourite guitar, there is also vid footage of him and marty playing having recieved their guitars from carvin on youtube
