I went thru a few vids, this has a pretty decent sound. I wish there was a pro shots of these shows.
This is with The Scorps..back in May.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EvzB...eature=related"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!
"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

that was awesome, but also a bit funny for me because I had only ever heard Testament's version, so I was like "wtf?" when they started the verse riff...my brain kept telling me "why the hell hasn't Eric stepped on the 'crunch' channel switch yet?"
BTW I didn't think his 2006 version at the academy was as good as that old one...only thing better was the camera
Anyway the man deserves a lot more credit for his influence, and it's kinda obvious where a certain swede got some inspiration!
I think I've mostly seen him (YJM) mention just Hendrix and Blackmore as influences though.

goddamnit Bill, before I was gonna post, saying it was Alex, then I thought to myself "I better get the fucking facts right or someone will give me hell" so I pulled out one of the Testament best of's that has Sails on it and tried checking the credits but it only said "previously unreleased", but anyway I figured Eric must be on it
thats kinda weird/cool...it was Monique who found Jimi dead also, I believe. At least it says so in the "the ultimate experience" album booklet.
Uli tried so hard being Jimi that he snatched up his old bird too?
that's dedication for ya

Her name was Monika. She wrote a book about his personal life, and on the cover was a picture taken the afternoon on the day he died. She got a lot of flack for leaving the house in the morning without bothering to call the police first. Weird story...Last edited by anuske9; 11-29-2007, 05:52 PM.-Adam

Yeah..I fucked up and called her Monique..from memory.
Jimi and Uli shared alot more than their love of muic..they loved the same vagina.
