  • King Diamond

I was checking out some stuff on youtube the other day and stumbled onto this... My brother used to listen to this stuff back in the day, and I didn't really like it. Now I kinda dig the playing on it. The solos are good, and that riff rocks.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Andy LaRocque was a great player...very underrated in his day. Mickey Dee was a kick ass drummer as well, not sure how he ended up pounding out Motorhead tunes.

Steve, that rocked from the day it was created. But I couldn't get past his vocals at that time. As years passed I saw the light..John and my singer bud explained that he writes horror stories set to music and those voices he does is characters. Awesome stories, set to awesome music..what's not to like.

      Anyone who don't like it..simply don't get it...and I know this!
"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
      Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

          King Diamond is the best!

go buy the dual packaging of "THEM" and "CONSPIRICY" by King Diamond

its a two album story about the house of AMON, a boys love for his sister, mother, and addiction to blood tea and deamon stories. its so fucking good and by far King Diamond's greatest masterpeice.

Unfortunate that you barely caught on the King bandwagon now! But even MORE fortunate that you did!! Kind Diamond has always been one of my favorites, and many here on JCF as well!

More palatable and understandable vocals on the two most recent offerings called The Puppet Master and Give Me Your Soul Please. Check those out as well.

Abigail is one of my top 5 cd's ever. Absolutely fuckin' rocks...

I still say that Abigail is the best rock drumming record ever. Mickey Dee was insane on that record.

A lot of metal has really limited vocal melodies, but this guy has soaring vocal melody and harmony for days. He's a bit shrill sometimes, but never boring!

I just listened to Melissa on the way back from work today.
They just don't make music like that these days.

they rock but man...never can take those high vocals seriously...it sounds like an extremely good heavy metal spoof where you not quite sure if its supposed to be funny or not...leans more towards the funny side for me
