I've seen Lynch a few times although ironically, not with Dokken. Anyway, the first time I saw him live was on the Wicked Sensation Lynch Mob tour and the place was filled with wall to wall guitarists waiting to see what Lynch can do. I can tell you he was smokin' hot and left jaws dropped with his playing! Since then I've seen him at NAMM a few times as well as a guitar clinic about 4 years ago. Always on when I've seen him. Also considering that he came from the era of shred monsters and is still relevant today speaks volumes. Oh yeah, and on top of that was very accomodating to his fans where ever I've seen him. George is up there in my guitar playing book

Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

"Sloppy" , "terrible", "pathetic" are words that don't come close to desribe George when I saw him..it was depressing!

Yeah, I caught George on the "Chasin' The Dragon" tour. He blew massive amounts of hardcore dong! I've seen him many times in his prime..two different players...just like Ed.

I bet they're glad that "guitar" is a lucrative sport again. Otherwise guys like Ed and George are just square pegs in round holes.."Smoke This"..

I can understand...what they are known for wasn't "cool" for a VERY long time, and both threw the towel. Now they can make a living at what they do best.

It really doesn't matter how "sloppy" guys like Ed or George is these days. They contributed more than enough inspiration to last many life times...to guitar players anywhoo.

I saw George with the reunited Lynch Mob (with Oni Logan on vocals) around 2000 or 2001. They both sucked! Oni forgot some of the words, to both LM and Dokken songs... well, it was his birthday, he was drunk, and he did sing happy birthday to himself and remembered the words. :ROTF:

George's tone was horrible, and he had his back to the audience most of the night.

Joe..that was the same show I saw. It was more than disappointing!

I walked out..I couldn't see him like that.

It sounded like a terrible Dokken tribute band. I know..I was in a terrible tribute band!

George was playing Randalls...which ones I don't know. I don't think amps mattered much. I was within' 10' from the guy. To put it honestly..he was beyond FUBAR, and not in a good way!!!

I spent 25 bucks to loose ALOT of respect and admiration for the guy. That night, I saw George Lynch suck more than I do!!!

            BTW Wassup Joe!!!

I think it was that Lynch Mob reunion tour I last saw him. He just flat out ripped here in Hollywood. Might have been the best I've ever seen him play. I could have touched his guitar and I was hearing his amps more than the PA.

Yeah, Jon Levin is a great guitarist in his own right, and is very heavily influenced by Lynch's style. A great choice for the band.
                              Ron is the MAN!!!!

I like this! good new tune!

I've never heard Levin before, but he does have a GL style of attack. matches the band well. nice tone too.

and Barry Sparks is a great bassist, I've seen him rip with Yngwie and he did all those tours with Schenker too.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
