    I forgot about the J. Geils Band... then after watching this video I was reminded of how cool they were/are.

          that's why I said "1" of the coolest... so many differant types of rock were hitting the scene back then... i remember they had the cool guy in glasses playing an explorer... a frizzy hair guy on the keys... and a skinny dude dancing around getting the chicks stirred up. I mean "love stinks", "centerfold", "freeze frame", and "come back". they were ok in my book.

                      Wow, I totally disagree. I love tons of bands from the 80s, but the J. Geils Band is one band I'd like to forget.
