I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Indeed he's a very down to earth guy. My ex-wife's father and his brother grew up in Long Island with Joe and Steve Vai. The brother took lessons from Joe and is also a very good guitar player. I heard cool stories about the both of them.

Someone on the youtube comments mentioned that he uses the neck pick up, which he does. I would of just assumed he would use the bridge pup. I guess I would of been wrong.............again

I guess my lesson on fingers and tone was when a friend of mine told me "You don't need better gear man, You need better ideas..."

            ouch.

            But true.

Yes, I do remember reading that..at that time. The Nuge said something like. ..he went over Ed's to play his magic black box and discovered he didn't have one. He plugged in and it sounded just Ted Nugent.

That was awesome! I'm going to sell all my gear and get a pignose strat, Peavey backstage 30, and a RP200, so I can sound like Satch

                          Proof that's in the fingers.

Yeah, but if you can afford killer gear, you don't have to practice quite as hard! kidding of course...
