Charvel Abuse.... but in a good way!

I wasn't intending on opening old wounds. Just throwing some facts out there.

The guitar is what it is. It's a "Charvelized" Fender. It's still cool no matter what.

...and it goes without saying that I am a huge Badlands fan. I'm not aware of any "disregard" of them here on the JCF. I'm pretty sure the majority of folks on here who are aware of Jake's work with Ozzy also followed his work with Badlands and then to his two solo albums..

Ummm.....that sentence makes no sense to me, sorry.

Nononononoo all charve did was change the pickup config, remove 2 knobs, and add the logo, so its still essentially a fender

They also shaved the neck, cut the headstock down from the large 70's shape, and repainted it. I stand by my "mostly Charvel" statement.

He took your original post a bit out of context... although non strat-shaped Charvels don't really match what your saying, if you want to be technical.

OK, I get it, yeah I was referring to strat body or headstock guitars only. My bad.

I knew they shaved the neck, but I didn't know they trimmed the headstock from the larger size. Are there any "before mod" pics floatng around?

Jake's tone was wack in that video..but it got better near the end of his solo..the sound man must have slapped on some effects or something..
