One of the best looking Charvels ever!

Interesting how he has the brass strap button on the upper horn but used a neck plate button to mount the strap.

He's not a writer on that album and only plays on a couple of tracks. AFAIK, Derek Sherinian and Virgil Donati wrote all of the material, and Brett Garsed plays the bulk of the guitar on it.

I admit his music is less than radio or toe-tapping, but I respect the hell out of his abilities. Certainly not a "shredder" per se but he has a bunch of shredders paying homage to him !!!

Thanks for doing so. I hadn't seen that one before. His playing is always off the charts. It'd be kind of nice if Charvel would do a reissue of that guitar, though with Allan having a Carvin deal, I don't see it happening.

Holdsworth is a Monster,one of a kind,there's never a dull moment in his playing,and yes he is far from being a shredder,most shredder make me yawn with their predictable playing.....the guy has soul,unlike most shredders out there...
