well jazz musicians did a lot of drugs (and brought heroin into mainstream) so it's no wonder
John was a hippie and into all the stuff from India.... he still plays with a lot of Hindu musicians

Actually, this has caused me to pull out my Mahavishnu CDs, for the first time in a while
I like the way he really attacks the strings and gets a snap sometimes on fast licks, no legato!!!!!Comment
