  • Maiden in Santiago de Chile

What can i say... Best fuckin' concert I've seen in my entire life!!!

Adrian used two Jacksons, his old one and a new one just like it but without a pickguard. The only other axe he used was a Gibson SG that sounded like ass, lol!

Enough chit chat, time for some pics.

Very cool pics indeed! Were you close enough to take those yourself? Actually, both Jacksons are new guitars, and both have pickguards...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I didn't take those myself but i was pretty close to the stage. I fail to see the pickguard on this one. I suspected the other one was new too, but it looks very close to his old one.

Wait a minute! iI see the screws now.. my bad.

Man, I want to see that show so bad. They haven't scheduled anything for the Detroit area as of yet.

I have the new Maiden DVD and I've watched it about ten times now Poweslave is my favorite CD.

You won't regret it dude! They kick ass so hard in this tour, it's unbelievable! Thank god, Janick Gers does mostly pirotechnical stuff and leave the music to the guys...

That's good to hear. Maiden always delivers the goods live.

My brother took me to see them in 1985 during the Slavery Tour. Twisted Sister opened for them... man time flies.

I got all excited, when I read this thinking Maiden was going to play somewhere cool. Unfortunately, they're playing in Concord. It's seats in front of lawn. I'll still go, don't get me wrong.

I see them this Friday in New Jersey. Can't wait!!!! Saw the original Powerslave tour way back when, so there should be a big case of "de-ja-vu" going on that night.

PS: Is anybody opening up for them or are they just playing themselves? I can't seem to find any listing for a second band.

Steve's daughter, Lauren opened for 'em here in Santiago. Not interesting at all if you ask me...
