San Francisco Bay area thrash band. Exodus was formed by Kirk Hammett. Gary was Kirk's tech, then the other guitar player in the band left and Gary joined. After Kirk left for Metallica, then Rick Hunolt joined with Gary and they put out their first album, Bonded By Blood.

Forgive me but....
Exodus and Gary Holt are just so inconsequential (average, boring, and ridiculous like Slayer) to metal music history, I was amazed that anyone would even start a thread about him/them.

At least Exodus and Slayer are still around and putting out good thrash metal music... at least I think so anyway.
Testament is also still kicking ass and just put out their newest album yesterday!I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.Comment
