I listened to Blooddrunk, I thought it was just as good as their older stuff and better than Are You Dead Yet. I really liked Banned from Heaven, great song. But my favorite album is still Follow The Reaper.

I agree but it's just the wrong timbre for a "death" metal band.

I like the keyboard. They make good use of it by letting Janne play solos too and the duel thing they do live. Besides, many cool metal bands from Finland use keyboards.

Cool to hear about the Sinergy album.. have been waiting for a new Sinergy album for years now haha.

I just can't get on board with them due to the keys and especially the vocals. My son digs them and I'll listen to them with him as I actually dig some of the riffs and guitar playing. If they had someone who could actually sing, I would probably like them a lot.

As for the keys, I don't mind them so much in the background, but I hate the solos. I don't get all the cheesy keyboard solos when you have a killer guitar player like Roope whose soloing contributions continue to be minimal. WTF????

Joe they that album has been don for a couple years now. They just need to add some solos and whatnots..so that should be comming soon.

Yeah, I know they've said for years now it's supposed to come out, but they keep pushing it back.

Got this yesterday. So far it's only meh. Hasn't grown on me after 3 or 4 listens. So far it doesn't seem like the riffs are there on this one. But I'll give it some time.

I liked them quite a bit for the folk and neo-classical component. If that is gone, not much left for me... never liked the vocals, and not really interested in the nu-metal side of things, even with killer keyboards.

After quite a few plays I decided to sell my copy. I just can't get into it. Same with the recent Arch Enemy stuff.. not bad at all, but also not great.

That's a good idea. It's not bad, but it's not great. It's mediocre. So I would wait for a used one.
