Morbid Angel are still going? It's been so long since the shit Heretic album I assumed Trey'd got lost in cyberspace wanking off over Quake.

Yeah, they reunited with David Vincent. He's still playing bass with his wife in the Genitorturers as well as doing the Morbid Angel thing again.

Holy 2.5 year thread resurrection. They still haven't put out the new album yet, but I read it's was supposed to be recorded this past summer with a different drummer to give Pete Sandoval time to recover from back surgery, and the album should be out late this year or early next year.

Last I read they were waiting on Pete to get better before doing it. Although it is meant to be out fairly soon I think. Morbid Angel and Deicide seem to be really shitty at publicizing what they're doing between albums. I don't even know who's in Deicide any more.

I don't get the import bolt on Warrior either...The USA and Pro play 100x better than any bolt on I have tried...Totally different guitars aside from the general shape...Each to their own...

I wasn't aware he played a USA Warrior. The Warrior Pro he played is cool, but those Kent Armstrongs are fucking weak. No wonder Mike Davis hack modded it to fit a real humbucker. Shame no-one knows which humbucker was installed.

Who cares? Since Legion they haven't released anything worthwhile anyways. I actually met Benton in the 90s when he came to Toronto. Seriously messed up dude back then, but we all were.

I only listen to the Dominate album. Haven't checked out anything else but "Where The Slime Live" is freakin rad. Erik Rutan is a freakin beast.
