Yeah, Ann was a knockout back in the day; remember when Nancy was the plain one relatively speaking? Her voice is still there though! She is the white Aretha!

Ann and Nancy were on American Idol doing Barracuda with Fergie. Jewel was on earlier as well. It opened up a good discussion among my buddies and I; which one do you want to nail?

I was the oddball and said Nancy, Jewel, and Fergie, in that order. Everyone thought I was nuts. One of my friends said "Nancy must be 50!" I reminded him that I'd been drooling over Nancy for 20+ years. And watching her swing that Les Paul (with a Bigsby!) around was pretty damn hot.

Fergie did a good job doing co-lead vocals with Ann.
