    Guys, and gals..

I'll be promoting quality new metal on my thread. I'm determined to convert friends to having more faith in metal. First impressions mean everything, so much thought is required. Many of you will be pleasantly surprised and will have new favorite bands.

But I need references what you love most in metal. I can depend on a few to assist me with suggestions. I'm determined to make believers of you. The music will speak for itself. Its too good to deny no matter what your taste. This will opne doors and help your own creativity..I promise to make it worth while!!

Steve, Troy..guys, be patient..give me this chance. It takes time to find the exact stuff to impress. Keep a watch on my thread..they will be posted there. Sources as youtube, is a good start for exposure. So, Watch for that soon!

You will finally understand my perception and why I feel the way I do. I'm not just some dickhead that takes joy talking shit ..even tho it appears that way at times. There is reasons to my madness.

I didn't intend to piss off anyone. I just want to enlighten people to music I know they will cherish a lifetime.

    Yours in Metal,

    Bill Z Bub

Not to further fuel the debate on the long term prospects of these bands, but I caught the Bullet/Bleeding Through/Black Tide show in Denver last night and it was well worth the trip.

As Guitarzan said earlier, the show itself rocked, the sound mix was perfect for all the bands which is key to a great show, so props to the sound guys.

Black Tide seemed very comfortable on stage despite their relative youth and I wish they got to play longer. The lead singer needs to begin to develop a rapport with the audience though, he just sang and let the bass player do all the interaction with the audience. He played a sweet looking green Jackson Kelly throughout while the other guitarist played an ESP and a reverse headstock Jackson. Not virtuosos by any means but they held their own.

Bleeding Through.....their style was not really for me, to much scream, but their guitars were heavy and they energized that place like no other band on the bill. Had everyone going crazy, my wife got a kick out of watching the circle pit.

Bullet sounded real loud and real heavy live, besides their couple of rock ballad type songs. Matt played his new sig Jacksons, the silver sparkle and the white version as well as a bullseye Les Paul. Padge played his sig ESPs all night and nailed his solos perfectly. I would have paid big money just to jump on stage and be able to hit an E chord through his rig, his tone was killer. Their dual guitar work is pretty solid. They closed with a great cover version of Creeping Death.

Love 'em, hate 'em or indifferent, there was no better place to be in Colorado last night to see some hard rock, featuring some Jacksons too.

I will definitely spend some time sorting through that stuff, I'm open to finding new bands, or bands new to me at least, to listen to as much as anybody.

Shows how behind i am, i got this album not long ago & love it. So while you're all bored & looking for something else to play with, I'm enjoying the moldy old fruit, tastes fine to me.

Moldy old fruit in your parts would br Morbid Saint, which tastes MUCH better. Talk to Gary (Vitamin G) for some REAL , timeless, metal to listen to. 5 steps up from Black Tide on the foodchain would be the likes of Trivium.

                    Search, and Ye shall find!
