Credibility means everything ..Racerx2k = Ron Jr. (RacerX).. Then use the word I used "psuedo" in your retort..what's next Horns6662k??

Let's look at the facts. I'm Bill Z Bub and you're not. My singer is most respected in my parts and even inspired Ripper Owens as a kid. (I could post his myspace). I was bold enough to put up my crappy "cassette" demo with Ty. Most listened to it in the MP3 section..Bill Z Bub's "Bed Of Nails" and my Van Halen Tribute band.

You heard MY songs, MY Uberschall and MY singer..Let's hear YOUR songs, your SINGER and YOUR Lamey..

      Put up..or STFU!
      Poser!!!!

      BTW Happy Mothers Day..Motherfugger..

      Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

Now we're getting somewhere! Love or hate the vocal style, death metal is the hardest rock/metal genre to play within, overall. Again, I have to go back to Nile as an example - that stuff is just unbelievable.

This is the ancient Egyptian themed death metal band Nile playing their song Lashed To The Slave Stick live on 27 August 2007 at Jaxx Night Club in Springfie...

Here's the studio version which has all the lyrics for you, karakoe style, give it a go:

YOU try doing those vocals (or any singing type you like) while playing that shit on the guitar at the same time!

All metal deserves respect, at least just for the skill level involved in playing it. Death metal vocals are nowhere near as easy to do as they seem. Try doing it for one song to see how difficult it is without a LOT of practice.
Like I say, ALL metal deserves respect.

Apart from the gay metal shit like Stratovarius and Dragon Force. THat stuffs just fucking shite. :ROTF:

Karl likes to keep with the Egyptian theme, so I think that headstock is about that. It's a weird looking guitar overall.

Never mind that though, look at the first guitar player (Dallas Toller-Wade)'s fingers! They're fucking massive!

You all thought Dave Mustaine was great for singing while playing "Tornado of Souls", I'd say this trumps even that for technicality. (Not saying it's a better song, I LOVE TOrnado)

LOL! Okay, since this shows promise of being somewhat amusing, I'll entertain this:

First off, I can only ASSUME you are referring to Racerx, here, on this forum, as I don't know him. See, on most online places,I usually pick "Racerx", but since he already took it, I just took a variation of it. Has nothing to do with either one of us. If you used "pseudo", I wasn't even aware of it. Just a word I chose to use.
Okay, now the next thing. You're Bill z Bub....who the fuck is that? Are you making a joke, or am I SUPPOSED to know who you are, cause I certainly don't. A big fish in a little pond? Ripper Owens means little to me, other than as a Rob Halford sound-alike. I WILL say, I was able to track down the links to your demo, and your singer has a very good command of his voice, and is a better vocalist than most in your neck of the musical woods. That said, I think his talents would be better spent in other music styles, since he is quite versatile, and that music is a pigeonhole. Each song was in the same key, was it not? Do you know any other key? I'd seriously like to hear the Van Halen stuff. More of the vein of music I'm into. Stuff with a discerning melody and vocals.
Nice guitar tone for that kind of music, again, not my cup of tea. Too V'ed, and some of the solo work was cool, however, all the dropped-tune chugga-chugga just falls to mush. Had a chance to play an Uber, recently, and it IS a nice, versatile amp. Was easy for me to dial in a workable tone for my type of stuff. However, the Laney suits me just fine, and for MANY dollars less.
As for the gauntlet throw-down: 1) I won't involve my singer, as he's not part of this. 2) My songs are nowhere near the vein of Death Metal, but I will be happy to post something if I get a chance (Life is crazy, and I shouldn't be bothering with this, when I have three kids and it's Mother's Day. My wife is a saint.) And 3) The "Lamey" thing was...well...LAME. I thought you DM'ers weren't gear snobs. After all, that would make you look too, um, well, materialistic and image-conscious.
That said, in the meantime, you're in luck, tough guy. Are you the one from Cleveland? If so, good, I'm right in Pittsburgh. Shouldn't be too long of a haul for you to school me, right? " Put up..or STFU", right? :ROTF:
                  I'm not Ron!

You continue to keep this thing rolling along, even though you have three children? I bet they're really proud of you, using your time in such a worthwhile endeavour rather than spending time with them.

"Apart from the gay metal shit like Stratovarius and Dragon Force"..dude..even tho they may sound gay to you. You must ackowledge the skill in those camps..

I'm not really fond of bands like Dream Theater but admit their skills are great. I may not care for their writing as a whole. I may extract ideas within those songs that may inspire my own..

People may not like "cookie monster" vocals. But you can still learn and get some inspiration from alot of those bands. Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, At The Gates, Dark Tranquility, Emperor, Darkane, Carnal Forge, COB and ect may not appeal to some vocally..but have plenty in the riff/writing/arragnement department to draw from...Arch Enemy without death vox would sound like Armegeddon. COB w/o alexi's vox would sound like Sinergy. Merciful Fate w/o King Diamond is Force Of Evil. Death w/o Chuck singing sounds like Control Denied...an so on.

I have no use Nu or rap metal, because they're trends and not metal. Besides, what skill level or challenge is that. You could play or write any of that crap with a broken hand..or a fuggin' bloody stump for that matter. Like I said before ALL trends have expiration dates..true metal doesn't.

Thanks sir..but my are special to me, because they're mine (lyrics and music). They're recorded very poorly..but it gives an idea. I think the songs sound original and different..the same key tho. I wrote two more on my 7 string and two in standard. I wished I had more tracks for harmonies and solos. With all the metal out there, its hard coming up with something "original"..I don't think that exists..
