I took a lot of pic's but just have not had time to download and post. They look really good on the camera. I shot them from the 12th row of the orchestra pit. Stay tuned!

Had I known what I was going to witness I would have purchased tickets for both nights. I seriously doubt I will ever see a show of such intensity again. Ryme of the Ancient Mariner was for me the hightlight. I hope they issue this show as a HD DVD.

Just saw them in Cleveland last night. Great show!!! Adrian Smith played two Strat Head Jacksons the whole night. Both white, one with black pickguard and one with white. This is the 4th time I've seen them. I saw them back around 1982 opening for Judas Priest on the Screaming For Vengeance tour then on Powerslave, then about 3-4 years ago and last night. One thing that bugs me is that they don't do Flight Of Icarus live anymore. Why not?Last edited by roodyrocker; 06-13-2008, 11:43 PM.Rudy

No problem with small point & shooters, saw plenty of them @ PNC.
PNC show was terrific- Adrian indeed was on a white strathead Jackson w/ black pickguard all night. Both he and Dave sounded like a million bucks. Gers even sounded pretty darn good to my ears.....and I hate to do this in a review but I have to give a big WTF to Ger's stage presence.
It is unbelievable. I have never seen the like. He's free to do what he wants, of course, but his activity is so unlike that of the other members of the band it is jarring. I don't mind the throwing the guitars in the air, or the spins around his neck. But half the time he looked like Olivia Newton John trying to get "physical". He threw his leg up on an amplifier like he was trying to get his stretch on, bending over. His capering and spinning looked......well, looked a little fruity, I hope no one takes offense. And it IS extremely distracting......Adrians ripping out a solo, and this guy is skipping and dancing around like a 3 year old girl.
I had heard folks speak of his antics and I didn't think it could POSSIBLY be that extreme, but it is that extreme, and worse.
ANYWAY- for the other 2 maniacs- Bruce & Harris. Holy crap, and Gers too really, what stamina. Particularly Dickinson, running around like a lunatic, up down up down stairs, not missing a beat. Not out of breath, doing his air raid siren stuff....What a band. Gers included. Tight, tight, tight. Absolute pleasure to watch. Professionals in every sense of the word, without being boring, without giving up rawness.
If anyone hasnt' been convinced to go see this show, I highly recommend it. Even at 50 years of age you are seeing Maiden at the height of their powers. Truly something to behold.

OK....now I am gonna catch them when they get close. The pics were inspiring... But why do they let the guitar tech play on stage with Dave and Adrian.Custom Guitars, Refinish and restorations.

Just got back home from the show in Baltimore tonight. Wow, that's one of the very best concerts I've ever seen. I can't believe that after all these years this is the first time I've seen Maiden live. They're simply amazing to be this good after so many years of touring. They nailed everything perfectly--it was like watching the "Live After Death" album in real time.
