pretty good job singing but man no one can match Coverdale.

I remember reading something a while back, another band was down the hall in the studio when WS was recording that song and the guy had to stop singing because he couldn't believe Coverdale did the entire song in one take.

I saw them on that tour in Atlanta at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater (now called Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheater). They opened for Bon Jovi.

            I don't understand what you're saying there.

A band was recording a song, and the singer had to stop in shock because he realised Coverdale had done this song in one take?
How did this singer know? Didn't he have headphones on?

The guy in this video (sykes?) has a powerful voice, but he's wearing incredibly amusing fur lined boots.
Boots which, incredibly, are now in fashion again amongst young girls.

Those furry rings on the top of his boots, make him look like he's 4ft tall..
Love his playing though..most of us spent the last 16 years explaining to
anyone that would listen, "It's not Vivian, and Adrian doing that originally.... it was John Sykes! That's when they walk away..shaking
                  their head... thinking..."Rock nerd"!

Can't remember the exact details (I thought I read it in GFTPM back in the early 90's) but the band was mixing a song or something themselves and they could hear DC down the hall singing and were blown away.
