    I own this guitar:

...although I'm probably more excited that the Zoraxe was hanging four feet to the right of it, than Phil Collen having played it...

I'd take that PC over the zoraxe any day of the week - very nice!

Famous guitars in the hands of forum mambers

        > I don't own any guitars other than the one Model 5 I've discussed before, but I did sell an American Strat to Carl Bell once. He supposedly used that one to record the biggest part of Fuel's debut cd Sunburn. A local friend owns an Ibanez RG560 Carl had. Tommy D.

I know longer have them, but I also owned a '65 Mustang (my son has this one) owned by the late David Houston. I also owned an Alvarez Yairi that belonged to Marty Friedman (sold by his buddy Dave Mustaine) which was used to record acoustic parts on the "Youthanasia" album.

I bought my 83 San Dimas from Angus Clark of Trans-Siberian Orchesta and Kitaro fame. Apparently at one point Angus had Roger Sadowsky do some mods to it. Here it is before I changed the neck pickup.

1981 Charvel Pre-Pro formerly owned by George Lynch. It was originally a Srathead and George sent it back for a pointy.
Signed on the back "This used to be mine. George Lynch"

                I've seen it.
                I've touched it.
                I've played it.

                It's to say the least.

That GMW was pretty fuggin' sweet too though B

I have an neck thru CS COW made for Christian Olde Wolbers. I believe they made him 4 (2 archtop dinkys and 2 V's ) and he bought one of each and the other two went to Drum City Guitarland.

I love the look of that! Classy. The binding and the black headstock...it's like formal wear!

The way I found this one was a few years ago I went to a guitar show in Columbus, Ohio and while everyone else there was into the Les Paul/Strat market I saw Marty's Kelly for sale. I shot a couple pix of it because it was so cool. Later, the guy put it up on E-Bay. So I contacted him and since he was in Ohio and I live there too, we struck a deal and each drove halfway for pickup. Its in awesome shape but the case is a little beat up from travel. There are still airline stickers on it. I've since bought another Jackson SKB case for it
