great review! I unfortunately missed WS earlier this year when they toured right before our family holiday. A huge shame since I'm a big fan of Reb & Doug's playing. I missed the Winger tour too, since they only travelled as far north as Sydney. Reb's been a favourite of mine for as long as I can remember & I've missed two opportunities to see him in 6 months
      Hail yesterday

Now hold on one moment here - we are talking about the DRUMMER!! Come on chaps, think about what you are saying, the only other drummer who could be considered the mainman is Phil fucking Collins (oh, and maybe Mick Fleetwood).
To me, the mainman is the geezer up front, the captain rather than the engine room, the one who provides the visual association, regardless who does the real work.
Ask most people to describe Deicide, they will say:
        1. Who?
        2. Oh, that twat with the inverted cross on his forehead.
        3. And weren't those 2 blonde terrorists from the film Die Hard in the band too?
        4. I prefer Phil Collins, "I can feel it cumming in my hair tonight, oh yeah"
        Etc etc

        NOT
        1. Ah yes, the drummer writes and plays all their stuff you know, he's the mainman.

That's why Ozzy is the mainman in Sabbath, even though he can't write his own name, let alone a killer riff like the God that is Tony Iommi.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

        I nearly broke her back

You're probably right - but I'm a big Deicide fan and feel Steve should get more credit, especially since Benton is such an arsehole.
And besides, he's not just the drummer, he's also the lead and rythm guitarist on the new album. AND he seems to be touring with Whitesnake the now too!

OH BTW, you can probably tell, if you look closely, Leppard were using Marshalls. I thought Phil had gone off them a few years ago, but they were back out again.
Not sure what Whitesnake were playing through, never noticed.

I know Reb uses Suhr's CAA100SE+ heads as I talked to him about it last spring. Aldrich has been a Marshall endorsee and had been using Cameron modded heads but I'm not sure what he's touring with now.
