"Dear Dr. Bill,
I work with a woman who is about 5 feet tall and weighs close to 450 pounds and has more facial hair than ZZ Top." - Jack The Riffer
"OK, we can both have Ben..joint custody. I'll have him on the weekends. We could go out in my Cobra and give people the finger..weather permitting of course.." -Bill Z. Bub
I can imagine Anthrax sharing a stage with ANYONE if they're getting paid for it. Scott Ian and Charlie Benante would do a tour with Hitler if it meant they got paid.
I'm a fan of both bands but Ian makes it sound like Stryper were a joke.
OK, maybe the whole Yellow & Black Schtick is/was goofy but not back THEN....and musically Stryper wipes the floor with Anthrax.
LOL! Too funny. Stryper was a big joke then for most of us. Ian and co. did more for metal than most any other band with a few notable exceptions. They should get paid for doing it so I dont blame them.
I saw them on the last tour with Danny and Joey. Was it perfect, no, but I last saw those guys open for Ozzy on Zakk;s first tour and you can never get that kind of energy back.
BTW, the best part is, Anthrax never took themselves too seriously, that was one of the reasons that they were cool so if you think that they are a joke, you are probably 1/2 right (but for the wrong reasons of course).
