I think the band is at their best when they do the "regular" rock tunes like this than when they do the bloated stuff like on 3 sides, though there is no doubt that they are a talented band.

Lyrics are kinda questionable though and Cherone's "gayness" wears thin on me after a while...

All in all not bad. I'd rather hear more of this type of stuff than the sad crap we hear on the radio for the most part these days. Thank god for XM!
Well said there mate! My thoughts exactly

Nuno's playing is very good. The song sucks donkey balls, especially the chorus. If you take away the shitty writing and singing, the music isn't bad.

It reminds me too much of III Sides, and how much that band went downhill after two kick ass albums.

I like the analog sounding production, but I've always been a sucker for raw sounding albums.

I haven't heard it yet, but Spoono Gettin' Snort has always been outraegeous on the guitar.

I'm probably going to offend the masses, but I've never been impressed with George Lynch. He did have cool guitars and great hair, but he's nowhere close to Nuno's talent.

Dokken was a fucking joke and total waste of George's, Jeff's and Mick's talent.

Too bad that Lynch Mob started 10 years too late

Lynch was another monster player and he even managed to stand out during a time when eveyone else was an EVH or YJM clone! Lynch Mob's first album was great but after that the songs got less memorable. I see nothing wrong with Dokken.

I hate the chorus a lot, but the guitar playing is very interesting. Nuno has always been a great talent, and his playing here is great, as usual.

that's the sad part... George was so frikkin incredible but was stuck in a band wich songs were cheesier than Hit Be Baby One More Time and the singer didn't have any balls at all... Don just wrote bad songs and didn't let his band mates do much... I thought Jeff and Mick were nothing special because they only played the same shit all the time... that was until I heard them outside Dokken where they showed how good musicians they are... and the funny thing is that Jeff is 10 times better singer than Don.
At first I dug Dokken... it was all because of George's playing... but then I heard Lynch Mob... now that was a real rock band... unlike Dokken they had groove, balls and good songs

IMO Lynch Mob 2 is also a great album songs hooks are so big you could catch a fish and very memorable. Also Lynch mob 2 has probably the best rhythm guitar sound i have heard.
