Yes, I know..it changed the way I played bass forever. I didn't know where to buy or afford a Chapman stick..so I just applied THAT technique to bass. I guess alot of other bassists had the same idea. Tony Levin is the genius there IMO, but they all were in that camp.

    Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

I have worn out my KC records... very big influence

I can listen to Tony Levin's bass and stick paying more than any guitarist

        Adrian Belew; mad genius? Agreed.
However, I'm sure he was pretty stoked to be playing with Robert Fripp, one of the original mad genius'!
The Frippster's solo on 21st Century Schizoid Man; Well? What can I say!

Adrian Belew has contributed so much to a generous fistful of important prog acts — Crimson, Zappa, Bowie, Talking Heads, Laurie Anderson, Tom Tom Club, Nine Inch Nails...
please don't put it into words, 'cause I fear what you're thinking

I saw Adrian a few months ago, his bassist is young and hot, and her little bro plays drums, together the band was tight and all sounded great, he defintly still has his chops.

I wore out that Discipline album. I saw Adrian on a solo tour, and the next day ran to the GC to buy a Boomerang pedal (which on a side note was a fuggin "special order" lol). Another side note: he looks way cooler in pink than Mike Tramp.

Another thought: I vote the "Non Jackson/Charvel Related Talk" forum be re-christened as the "Talk, It's Only Talk" forum. Man that would rock.
