I have to agree with most of the comments.
"Cookie monster" on vocals; that nails it!
Guitar solo didn't impress me much. Didn't knock my socks off, but I did like his tone.

I guess at 35 I may be an old goat, but I love Necrophagist! Though, I've only got their Epitaph CD. I got into Venom, Death and Celtic Frost in the '80s, too, so the death metal cookie monster growls are fine with me.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
how did this type of vocal come to be???
I'm sorry but I find it fugging horrible. I hear so many cool interesting musical pieces
that I can't even listen to because they have this type of "vocal" on top of it.
I know a lot of guys are into this type of vocal but I can't stand it.
I liked the solo in this tune though pretty cool.

horrible thin, computer-like tone, horrible intonation, out of tune vibrato, text book cheesy neo-classical runs... wow this is breaking new grounds for sure

that tone did leave me cold like a corpse after rigor mortis sets in!
