I tried the JVM, and it is a cool amp in a lot of ways, but the shitty quality plastic knobs and pot posts turned me off from paying 2K for it.

if I was one of these well-known artists, I'd ask Marshall to make me a custom JVM with quality metal pot posts and knobs, etc. now that would rock.

good to see my man Navarro popping up. damn I hope Jane's does the reunion tour with Eric Avery that has been hinted around about earlier this Summer.

i want his chops too but how can you say you will die with a marshall when you say in interviews that you love your line6 prototype and just about everything else someone will give you for free.

no shit. zakk was like that even from the start. hed talk about marshalls but on the next page hed be in an ampeg add. i know its about the money but ever heard anything about a little loyalty

Last I heard Line 6 was considering a Mustaine Signature amp.

NOW he's in a Marshall ad.

After all the guitar companies, now amps too..........yeah he's lost all credibility with me.

i think hes been using the same setup for a long time and is just lookin for the big payday. hes like george lych, i remember seeing lych at a clinic and he was using marshall and a line 6 pod, at the same time getting ready to release an amp with peavey and like the next namm show he had a sig randall. its all about the money i guess.

But who can blaim him? I would do the same thing as long as it was a descent company, it have always been high quality stuff that he has endorsed. (Well, it would take a ton of money to make me replace my Marshall with a Line6, but otherwise...)

george has always used marshalls in the studio and a different rig for live work, and has used randall heads a few times and soldanos

its just as much the gear companies fault as theirs. they really dont care how much a big name player likes or uses their gear just as long as they have a popular face to put on the product.
