Yep, that would be my friend John. He was the one that first discovered that rack..and we both had to have it. No, I haven't played out with my 9200/JMP-1/JFX-1 since I bought it new in 1996, BUT I've used it EVERYDAY without one single problem! Another friend bought one in 1996 and never had a problem until last year..it needed tubes..one of the stock sovteks wen't bad.

John had probs with his JMP-1 from day one..and believe me I didn't like his either, something was wrong with it..it never sounded like mine. My advice get the 9200 with 5881's (6L6)..

Another friend wants to bring his bandmate Curran Murphy over (Nevermore/Annihilator/Shatter Messiah) just to hear my "Criss Oliva in a box"..he wants THAT tone, and he will hear it.

He's always been a Marshall boy at heart. He used a Mesa Triaxis on the Risk tour, then went back to the JMP preamp. He switches for other crap but always goes back to marshall in the end..

I was just getting ready to detail his rig- nice job.
He's also used Rocktron Piranha's quite a bit.

Last I heard Line 6 was considering a Mustaine Signature amp.

NOW he's in a Marshall ad.

After all the guitar companies, now amps too..........yeah he's lost all credibility with me.
