Damn Robert. That Sweet FA band kicked some ass. Dug the groove and cool tune. A bit of Winger in there. Thanks for turning me on to these guys.Custom Guitars, Refinish and restorations.

Originally posted by Rupe View PostLook at my earlier post, #167. They were a very solid band but really nothing original in time of copycats and metal homogenization. They are one of the few that I could listen to from that era though.
Sure they weren't very original but then, for that era, who was. I've always said that as far as that genre goes, there really wasn't much left to explore that had not already been done. It's more a matter of how you walk an old path than it is the path itself. I really liked the singers voice and the energy they projected. Which was a welcome addition to the genra considering at the time they were gaining momentum, the Seatle "I hate myself and want to die" sound was taking over the radio.Prosecutors will be violated...

Also does anyone have a copy of bite down hard on vinyl? I.m desperate for a copy but can never find it in stores or on ebay...

i had a piece of that Odin song, and a song by Randy Rhoads' brothers band "Rhoads" "livin on the edge", with some other east coast vs west coast bands, like Wasp went up against this band from NY i think they were called Hammerhead song was called "Whore", and they were pretty awesome, like Wasp in a way. Kill to have that song.

There are 2 songs on the Odin cd that have acoustic, "She Was The One" and "Matter Of Time". "Matter Of Time" is completely acoustic though, so maybe it was "She Was The One"?
I think I have that Hawk cd around too. That wasn't any good either if I remember right...
Mark St. John also had a cd with a band called White Tiger.
Any of you guys that were regulars on the Strip back then, do you remember Wanted and Jade?

It's from their first E.P, the song is called "Shinning Love" oh man, it's on the verge of total suck, the singer kills me, but the melody and the riffs is cool, shit i think i'm having flashbacks ahhhh, my brain..lol
Man some things i put so much effort into saving tapes and stuff, you'd never thought back then it would be a click of a button away in the future, lol.
