Dude, great job! Your playing was clean and you have good intonation with your vibrato. The Line 6 sounded great here. This video was also a great example of how you don't need a Floyd to do whammy work.

Props on writing an instrumental that is actually a song and not the usual four minute guitar solo over a backing track that some try to pass off as a song.

Thanks dude. I know what you mean. Youtube is full of guys just shredding mindlessly from beginning to end. I can only take about ten seconds of that. One reason I like Paul Gilbert's latest cd so much is that there is a ton of melody in the songs. It's the perfect balance of melody and shred, IMO.

If it's not a CHARVEL then i dont want to play it,look at it or even fuckin THINK about it!

The guitar in the video is a made in Japan model. The model name is "standard." They first came out in 2002 and were made for a couple of years ??? I believe the pickups are a JB and a Jazz (both Duncans). I was so thrilled when they released this model. It was everything I wanted in a guitar: 24 frets, maple board, 2 hums, dinky body shape, strathead (sort of), and a floating trem that wasn't a Floyd, and it stays in tune!

              OK, here's the next video:

Spur of the moment, I decided to try this. So here it is, mistakes and all.

Watch me shred on acoustic guitar and vocals!

I was listening to Hysteria in my car today and thought I'd take a stab at singing it. So there it is, warts and all.
I had a bit of a hard time picking the individual notes and singing at the same time. Oh well.
