My wife won 2 front row seats at Shea stadium for the Stones 'Steel Wheels' tour - We saw that LC was the main warmup band right before the Stones. There was also an African drum band who played first, but Vernon was and still is an excellent player.

I'll tell ya - Cult Of Personality has one of the BADDEST riffs I've ever heard.
