    Shawn Lane was just as fast..but this sums up why

    Speed for speeds sake...SUCKS! Lane could shred just as fast, but
    make it interesting.. Here is a guy playing at 300 bpm...
    but you can hardly stand to listen to it for more than 30 seconds.
    Jennifer Batten played flight of the bumble Bee with way more flair
    and just about as fast too.... This my brothers...SUCKS!
    (although Necrofister lovers may love this dude too? :ROTF: LOL

                    that's 320 bpm, and this was posted and discussed already

                    attempting a world speed record doesn't really have much to do
                    with style theres no time for 'style' :|

                      I gotta give that guy his props..he practiced for that shit. I can't do that.. and I don't wanna.

                      I'm thinking Michael Batio had to come close to this at one point, but didn't get it on the meter. I wonder what his thoughts on this..

                          Don't you think maybe this guy can play slower if he wntes to?

                          Like thats the one and only thing he can play and only at hyper speed...

                          I thought the notes came through quite good considering the speed...Great execution!

                            Fast-Slow..he's better than me. BTW..he wrote ALL of this music..from scratch.

                              Yeah much better, but even "Lost" gets boring to me... i like Marcel Coenen much better for speed, and flair when needed..
