Do you guys think that Chris Degarmo would have been a better fit in Def Leppard than Viv? I was just watching a Queensryche video and it hit me that Chris has alot of the same stage moves that Steve Clark had. And I think writing wise Chris is just as creative as Steve was. That may have been a cool choice. This is not a bash Viv thread I like him as well.

FWIW, Old Dio and Queensryche (and Def Leppard up to Pyro) are some of my favorite bands. I wouldn't like seeing Degarmo being a waterboy like Viv. Jeez, all that talent going to waste. Why don't they make some kick ass stuff like they used to?

Viv does plenty of "heavy lifting" during the live shows.
I like Viv's technique a bit better than Phil's, but they provide great contrast on stage. Sounds awesome live.-Rick

I'm betting Chris is making a bit more money as a pilot these days. There's a reason he's not playing any more.
I think Viv is great for DL personally. He's a much more "soulful" player than Phil, who I see as a bit more of a flash & speed player than Viv these days. DL is nothing short of AWESOME live. Don't sell them short.

If he is still at Horizon he can't be making much more than $100,000.

Depending on the company and the plane, one can make a lot more flying a private jet than flying for a regional airline. Ask me how I know...Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

I like the Wilton Sig, but I'm getting tired of looking at it to be honest.
