In a comparison between Tim and the fat widdler I'd have to say Tim is the one with more talent! You might not say he's a great SINGER, just a great SCREAMER, but I listened a lot to "Jugulator" recently again, and I have to disagree. He's a fuggin' awesome singer. He shoulda screamed more on that album though.

Sweet that you were with Comprix - what's the deal with the Shecter guitar deal they (Beyond Fear) seem to have? Did he mention that?
And did he say how far along the new album is? I'm dying to hear it.

Saw the show. Lots of mixed feelings, it was good, yng was good.. BUt hm..

He did a few songs off of Perpetual Flame, he also did a brand new song that no one has ever heard of until that night, for that one he pulled out a pink strat.

I thought Ripper did great.

He didn't mention the Scecter and I didn't know to ask, but he's freinds and loves Jeff Loomis. He did take my advice and opted for the Marshall JVM over the KK Marshall. He was hellbent on getting that one until he made me try both at the store and when I said.."wha, are you fuggin' kiddin' me?" It was a no brainer really when I compared them. He's very happy with them so far. Likes it better than the 6505s w/ BBE in the loop...he may still use the BBE..I dunno. I'll be recording with a mutual freind so we were talking about that too. Oh, and John C is doing a solo cd..we were also talking about that.

I don't know how far they're into the BF album..but its in progress.

Well, YJM was last night and he put an awesome show on for sure.

Would rather Ripper stayed home really. Ripper peaked on Jugulator and hasn't been too impressive to me since. Sporting baggy leather pants, he would babble mindlessly until YJM walked out to play and cut him off mid sentence every fews songs, haha... He didn't so a bad job on most of what he sang last night tho... I'm just not impressed. Jorne, Soto or Boles are better choices.

YJM is looking good, very active and the ultimate showman for sure. Did pretty much the same songlist as was mentioned earlier by <-Mitch->.

Hard to get close enough and it was demanded NO PHOTOGRAPHS although I had my camera with me. I really couldnt get close anyways as it was way too crowded. Apparently Cleveland loves Yngwie. Did get a guitar pic tho...

Gotta say, he's always a bad man on guitar. He didn't appear to be drinking heavily and his playing was SERIOUSLY on last night and I'm very impressed. Dude just smoked all night.

I've seen YGM many times and have talked with at length (was a seriously nice guy to me) and once again, all I can say is... wow...

Very Cool John..your review was exactly what I expected. I sat that one out. I knew too many people would show. I can't stand to hear Tim scream insanely more than 3 minutes.. fuck that! He was cool during Jugulator, and that's it! We both know TY fuggin' smokes him, and always has!! Nice guy and all..but has no distinct style of his own. There's thousands of singers that can scream.

"Screeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaam maaaachiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine..can you hear me screeeeeeeeaaaaaaaam"..Ummm yes, ..yes we can ..ya fuck!

I hate crowds man. That made the Uli show a real treat for me!!
