Wow, what beautiful pics! I'm happy as can be for y'all! Uli playing foosball just kicks my ass! I would love to play foosball with The Maestro! It's so cool to hear that he's as incredible of a human being as he is a guitarist! Thanks for the pics and the great story, y'all!

Uli had his Framus onstage the night before this at Jaxx in Virginia. Didn't see if he was using it or not. The old Marshall was right beside it. His gear seemed more reliable this time than on his last U.S. tour, where he was having some problems with his pedalboard.
His sustainer thingy worked fine in Virginia, though it seems a bit cumbersome. I'd rather use a sustainer pickup, even though I know that the Ebow works slightly differently--and this new device is really just an Ebow mounted on a mic stand.
Looks like you guys had a great time. Uli is just about the nicest guy ever, eh? His ladyfriend Liz is very nice, too, and chatted with us for quite awhile. She told us that she and Uli are thinking of moving to the USA. Personally, I think they'd be crazy to do that, seeing how bad the music biz sucks here now--as witnessed by the small places Uli is playing. Standing right in front of Uli as he plays feels like getting to watch Mozart in person. Pure genius at work.Last edited by pro-fusion; 10-13-2008, 06:36 PM.

Yeah, we have been blessed to see so many acts up and close in Cleveland. Lucky thet we like the stuff hat plays at the smaller venues here I guess, haha...
Uli had the Dragon here also. It was sitting next to the Marshall and you see it listed in the switcher.
Bill was right by the pedal board there and didn't recall seeing him touch the switcher that night tho. I would have liked to have heard that.
His guitar guy was saying he ran his Marshall into a Fender head too, didn't see that. Just a Marshall, and a Framus Dragon.
