The Fallout boy guitarist should have found another route, it's such an iconic solo that to "kind of" play it makes him come across as not very capable.

he would have gotten a certain one time fee (usually certain amount of $ per song) for his playing just like all the other amazing musicians who played on that album (Steve Lukather, Louis Johnson, Jeff Porcaro etc.) if he would have asked but no way he would have gotten royalties.

Fallout Boy: Ban? or just hang. I would be better entertained by the cracking of their necks. Do everyone a favour including those emo's and put them out of their misery.

Well, he probably ISN'T very capable... but that aside, that solo was done by John Mayer

Am I the only one who thought that despite the average solo, in general the song was well produced? I especially liked the punchy driving drum/rhythm guitar tones, a good modern update from the old track.

I despised the production a lot more than the solo... it's empty and lifeless.
Quincy Jones is a pure genius and he knew exactly what he was doing... to create magic. But this thing sounds like a typical uninteresting product.

LOL It's Annie, are you okay, from the song Smooth Criminal. I thought Alien Ant Farm did a great remake of that.
