Ok, I'm only familiar with him from Roadhouse and of course Angel Eyes. Well watching Roadhouse tonight made me look up the Angel Eyes video.

Is that a Jackson he's playing?? At the end, it looks like a double neck, has sharkies...just can't get it clear enough to see.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

It's in the last few secs of the vid.

    Awesome musician BTW. Wow.

I believe that is his Jackson Double neck. I didn't watch the video but he did have a Jackson Double neck that I think somebody on here might own now. I know it was on ebay a few years ago.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

my favourite tune on Hell To Pay is I Think I Love You Too Much. He trades off solos with Mark Knopfler. It starts as a happy/soppy love tune, but when the singing is over and he & Mark get into it, the whole tunes takes a minor turn and some beautifully melancholy playing. Love it!

I recently saw some footage from his jazz band where he was playin a horn and then shredding it up on an archtop. Ridiculously talented individual.

I was only turned onto his music maybe a year ago, but fell right into it. I listen to his work pretty regularly now. Amazing musician and talent, and very inspirational to think that a blind man can play guitar like that. So many greats that had physical disabilties and can play better than I ever dream to. Another one that was taken from us too soon.

I got to see him perform with the Jackson in Seattle on his "See The Light Tour". That's a heckuva big guitar to play while it's sitting on your lap.

I was fortunate enough to Jeff play 3 times. His guitar was always great but each time, his vocals got even stronger.

Jeff's got two concert DVD's out and he recorded a sort "blues jam" album just before he died called "Mess of Blues". It's not his most in-your-face playing but it's pretty good.

                  R.I.P., Jeff.

He was the best thing in the movie Roadhouse...

....and Sam Elliot. Can't forget "The Man."

                          I have that guitar.

Jeff and I have been friends since we were in our mid teens, played in bands together back then, and buds ever since.

About a year and a half ago he called me and told me he had put it up on ebay a while back, had no bites, was going to list it again at a lower reserve price but had second thoughts and decided I should have it instead. So he gave it to me. This was shortly after his first lung cancer operation.

As you can imagine, it's a pretty special instrument and I will always treasure it.

Aside: I remember when Jeff gave me the guitar he told me how much his tech hated it. I won't go into details here, but the procedure for adjusting the truss rods is beyond belief.

Here's a pic of me playing it...

I have to say...we're not worthy!

                            That is truly awesome.
Do tell more about what you know about this awesome musician!

Some of us are not here because we are headbangers...I fall way down the rawk list...blues and soul touch me to the core. Jeff was both, just pure.
I'm here because I love Jackson's/Charvels. I would love to hear what you know.
