I listened to the tracks on myspace earlier today. Decent, but I'd rather buy the new crappy-sounding Metallica, which I still have not done, before I buy anything from Assle Pose.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Brian May had played on Catcher In The Rye, which was announced to not to be included in the album. But I'm surprised that it is. The guitars are changed ,tough. I just loved the old version.
Its a really good Axl Rose solo album with some great songs and some OK songs. There is little that ties this musically to Guns N Roses aside from the piano ballads.
That being said...if you did compare this to Guns N Roses it would be completely inapproriate to have sweeping arpeggios in any song...or even tapping. Lol
I definitely undetstand Axl's vision but he really should of made a genuine solo album and kept the real band together.
Either way...really good album if you listen to it in isolation.
Well I only listened the album a couple of times but I didn't like it at all so far. I wasn't expecting a "masterpiece" but this is still below my expectations.
