Buckethead wielding the axe for G'NR? I thought it was him, but wasn't sure. I'm in! I love Bucketheads playing.

The riff is pretty generic. We've heard it a thousand times before, kind of like Godsmacks, "Go Away" with a G'NR bent to it.

All in all, based on just the single, well.....it's already better than the "Spaghetti Incident!"

Buckethead has been out for a few years...Bumblefoot is his current guitarist...At least he is keeping in theme with guitaists who have stupid gimicky names.

I heard some of bucket's kill button guitar on the track. That's why I assumed it was him.

this song has like 5 chords, and I'm sure the main riff and chorus were accidentally written by tons of 15 year old kids all around the country.

From what I've read on Ron Thal's (Bumblefoot) site, all the rhythm tracks are his and the solo is indeed Buckethead. Bumblefoot's "Normal" cd is awesome. Check out the playing on "Real" and "Turnaround". Quirky but rockin' nonetheless....

I kinda like it. Complexity does not equal good. At least it sounds like GnR.

Of course Mr. Rose should have released this more than 10 years ago. I wonder what they were doing all this time, it's not rocket science for chrissakes!

Ok, don't stone me for this G&R fans, but when the guitar kicked it I thought I have clicked on a modern version of the 90210 sound track.

I think the guitars should be louder and the lyrics should have been written better. I think I like "Better" uh.. better then this single.

I wonder if Buckethead's parts were recorded when he was in that chicken coop thing in the studio where he got high on the smell of dog poop? Interesting to think that could be at least partially responsible for the inspiration behind what we're hearing.

hmmm, the intro and the ending suck, but i like the meat of the song.

+1. Better is an amazing, driving rock song. Definitely my favourite of the leaked tracks. When I first heard it, it hit me like a sledgehammer... Didn't think that Axl was capable of stuff like that anymore.

The rest of the tracks take some getting used to though.

Not one of my staff even said..."Whos this?" Or..."Is this G N' R?" Totally un noticed...
