I've had Megadeth on a lot recently in honour of my buying a KE3, and I'm starting to enjoy Youtha lot more, and CTE has gone right up in my estimation, I like that a fair bit now, Marty's solos on there are excellent.

I still believe RIP is basically an 11/10 album, a real bona fide CLASSIC. It's head and shoulders above every other album Megadeth have ever done IMO, it's that good.

I'm kinda ambivilent to anything after Youthanasia. I have them all, and I've tried to get into them, but never really did. UA is a great album, I guess I should try to listen to it more. It just doesn't have the Dave/Dave/Marty/Nick magic.

I think CTE gets a lot of slag because it was the most popular album but I thought it was good although the over played songs from it (Skin, Symphony) I could do without ever hearing again but I love a track like High Speed Dirt.


Anyway is there anyone here who wants to pay Dave's salary with higher guitar prices and longer lead times? Honestly if those things happen I am much less likely to buy a Jackson as I would think the majority of the people on these boards would be, so why would Jackson fall head over heels to do this? FMIC seems to know a thing about selling guitars they have been successful. I trust them in that decision

To be honest Jackson is doing fine, If Mustaine owned them business would be shit, he'd want most production models to his specs, so we'd not be getting anything he classes as "Different"

and Jackson is also bringing in the young talented bands, Gabriel Garcia is 16/17 and his band Black Tide is very popular already, Popular bands = More sales for Jackson
