  • Trivium is OFF Dean!!

It's confirmed that Trivium is no longer endorsed by Dean guitars on the Triviumworld fan site.
This is a photo from the upcomming video to the Trivium song Throes of Perdition.
He uses his old Jackson king v again!!
Come on guys, you may not like Trivium, but you have to agree with me it would be really stupid not to give these guys an endorsement deal by Jackson!
    Tell me about it!

I dunno. To be honest, as an old school metal fan, I find them complete and utter shite. I've seen them live, gave them a chance. But they're total shite.

From a sales point of view, yeah Jackson should sign them up.
From a moral point of view, in that Jackson shouldn't sign up a load of total shit, I'd say Jackson should steer clear.

Besides, why pay them when they clearly WANT to play Jacksons?

Fuck 'em - either sing like a proper metal band or sing like a proper death metal band, no halfway shite. Pish.

I dig Trivium. I'd like to see them fall in with Jackson.

I have to wonder though, what happen between them and Dean? Doesn't seem like their deal should have been over this quick.
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

No, i think they been woth Dean since the release of Ascendancy, late 05' i think.
Second album was f'cking amazing, the crusade...meh, and the last was was a really okay album, nothing that blewed my mind though :P

Maybe it was the shitty look of their Dean sigs who made them leave..

Seen em live very recently to give them a chance. They're not that bad really. Dont dig the _____core screaming they did on their earlier records (HATE it actually. no matter who it is), and they kind of seem to have gone away with that, so that's a bonus from my point of view. Haven't heard their new album, and dont think I will anytime soon, so I may be wrong by saying that they're done with that screaming... Anyway, they're not that bad, as far as live shows go. The songs dont hit me as anything that stands out to me, but they got a good vibe coming from them. They're good kids. =) Though the little skinny shits running around the crowd can REALLY get on your nerves. You know, the ones that never heard of Chuck Schuldiner or the likes

As far as the deal goes, I don't really mind. At least we won't be seeing "GET YOUR WINGS" in great big letters every time they get hyped over a single, video or album... and having said that, I'm relieved theres one less mainstream band endorsed by dean. This whole Razorback trend pissed me off to the point where I want to shoot every 13 year old with a Razorback and a Boss Distorion thinking he's metal.

Guitar is my first love, metal my second (wife...ehh she's in there somewhere). -Partial @ Marshall

I like their songs except for the shitty vocals. Its sounds like a bad case on american idol.

some of their songs are "ok" but meh. i couldnt care less if they come to the jackson artist line up. i would only care if the lead guy came up with his own siggy jackson....warrior + dime razorback anyone???

Yea I'm another fan of them. Not a huge fan of the vox, but they both can play pretty well. I'm glad to see them hopefully back with Jackson
