exactly, while George is not the player he used to be... he still plays with style.... he can be sloppy, play weird notes or whatever... but still he always has his feel and all his bends and vibratos are in tune... those younger players who are 10 times faster than he was during his prime play really cleanly and whatnot but what they play is also very lame... zero feel and the intonation is horrible.

That's why I liked this solo, spontaneous noodling over a lame tune but with a real player's feel

Sure have, for example when I saw him live at a NAMM after show a couple years back.

Hey we all get old, there is no doubt we will lose something along the way..but randy picked him to take over for him in giving lessons, when he left with ozzy! And ozzy picked him over jake.e.lee , but personal diff caused that match-up not to take so jake got the gig in the end. So thats three bad ass axe grinders no doubt about that and all three were org......that can not be said of all guitarist. If all i play is in the harmonic minor scale,i will be faster than those with broader range of playing. but that was then and we who lived and played then like those guys.the new guys are for the new guys, but i still like a lot of new groups.

I wasn't too crazy about the song in general, thought it was just okay.

I saw lynch mob last year and was disappointed. He is just one of those players that has not been able to keep his technical prowess up with age. I've seen him so many times starting with dokken at the palladium in 1984. He always had nice note selection and awesome vibrato, but now is almost a bad copy of his old self. Sad that my 3 favorite players - lynch, schenker, and randy are really no longer there.

He's no where near what he used to be, that's for sure. He really peaked around Back For The Attack and Wicked Sensation in my opinion. I saw him play at NAMM and he did an instrumental that he called "Son of Scary" which was exactly like what it seems. He did some cool licks, but he gets repetitive and doesn't seem real inspired anymore. That said, it was still a huge thrill to stand directly in front of him while he ripped through a couple of songs. I'd love to hear the old Lynch when the new Mob stuff with Oni Logan gets released later this year, but I'm not holding my breath.

He just seems to be totally blazing technical stuff these days, and not into MUSIC like he was back in teh day. like technique has dominated his playing instead of melody.

Endrik, I love ya man and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
But that wasn't George's better stuff.
If you want a Lynch tune a masterpiece to listen too, listen to "I Will Remember" all the way through. Since that tune, he hasn't done a thing that's even close to equal it. Imo, it's his best its stellar lynch work.

Then again what I think is a great tune may suck to others.
Even so, give that tune a listening too.
Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
