I can't determine if I like them or not. I always feel like I am caught in Star Trek IV when I listen to their lyrics and I don't understand French Environmentalists. That being said I seem to like their grooves. I just can't determine if I really hate them or moderately like them. I know I can't be alone.

some of their stuff sounds pretty cool... they should play their national anthem La Marseillaise which is the bloodiest and most metal anthem in the world... that would sound great in President's reception during the Bastille Day

they are pretty good, but i'd tend to rather listen to mastadon.

Ha well at least I know I am not alone on them. They are that band you kinda like but don't love. I kinda like that they are French Enviromentalists it is interesting rather than the same old same old.

I've been very impressed with Gojira. I really like the songwriting and the arrangements. They seem like a bunch of really bright guys and they're big Jackson heads.

maybe they are surfers? surfers are pretty protective of environment... those guys are from Bayonne area which is a beautiful place and one of the best surfing spots in Europe... a rare thing because the waves in Europe generally suck
