*shrug* I mark my own vids as private and only share them with people I want to see them. Or I disable embedding and comments and name them something obscure so people can't find them, lol. Im self conscious enough about my playing without having dickbags like that telling me I suck.

i put i vid on there and some dude said i should tune my guitar before making a vid. also said i sucked, i should give up on life cause i suck so bad. so i went to his vids and he's like 14 and couldnt play the pentatonic minor scale that he was trying to play on his vid. so i just deleted his dumb comments.

I see that so much. It's not just guitar videos either. You go to card trick videos and people accuse the poster of editing the video because they don't have enough brain cells to understand the trick. People post crap like that on the internet because they have a wall of anonimity to hide behind. Would the person who posted on the afformentioned guitar video say that if he saw you face to face. I highly doubt it. He's probably the same jerk that goes to the guitar shop, finds the most "brutal" guitar and the biggest Marshall possible, cranks the amp then plays Smoke on the Water or Stairway to Heaven for an hour straight, making it effectively impossible for you to test out a guitar or amp.

dude, the suckage percentage on youtube is way higher than in real life... not everyone there are douchebags but most of the commentators are... it's not uncommon there when 90% of the comments for some video truly suck... it's either that the lowest class of people comment there or just people automatically turn into assholes when they log into the tube
