  • Then and Now - Gig Pics

Since my recent relocation from Denver back to Pennsylvania, I hooked up with some old friends/bandmates and we decided to reform our old hard rock/classic metal band that we had back in the 90's.

After two rehearsals, we were given a short notice opportunity to play a gig in State College, PA last night as part of an all day event. We pulled it off like old pros and delivered a kick-ass set to a full house...a great night that has us even more excited about the reunion.

We opened up with Round and Round which set the tone nicely...no doubt as to what we were all about. We followed up with Another Thing Comin', Stranglehold, Crazy Train, Rock You Like a Hurricane, The Zoo, Smokin' in the Boys Room, Don't Tell Me You Love Me, Jailbreak, Breakin' the Law, and closed with Paranoid.

    Here we are in 1999:

    And in 2009:

    Cheers!

O.K. I was hoping you were closer and perhaps our bands could do some shows together. We play similar stuff

Well spotted Zeeg, I'd love to get my mitts on one of those old Urchins. The only thing I could see in those pics was THAT moustache.

I won't contribute a pic to this thread, last time my old band got together, for our singer's 40th, we were about to start the first number when some bright spark shouted "Fucking hell, it's a Right Said Fred tribute band". Looking at us, old and bald, he could have been right!
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

                      I nearly broke her back

                        Ouch, funny but tough crowd!
"We were sitting on the bus one day and there were 5 of us hanging out. There was only one beer left in the cooler and we actually all took a little cup and split it. It was a pathetic day in a rock and roll when five grown men have to be sitting there sharing a beer. "

No I don't. That guitar was completely loaded. Neck thru, bubinga stripes, 5 way varitone, 3 stage preamp, every switch under the sun, ebony board, MOP ovals, gold hardware, it was beautiful. I had 2 of them. A black standard model the top of the line. I got them when Aria first came out. I sold that loaded Urchin on Ebay for a TON of money many years ago.
