Everyome made fun of Metallica at most of the metal shows I went to always chanted, and encouraged .."FUCK Metallica...FUCK Metallica...Fuggums". Of course I chanted along everytime..it was heartworming, beautiful experience. Many of us cried...Many were angry. That was nice.

Perhaps you guys know that Jeff Loomis auditioned for Megadeth in 89 but was turned down because he was too young. Apparently Mustaine thought him a great guitarist but was just too young for the band (source - Bruce Dickinson).

And I guess we all know that Dimebag auditioned around the same time and was offered the job, but turned it down when he couldn't bring Vinnie in as well.

It's interesting to think how different they might have sounded if either of those guys had been in instead of Marty.

I said that years ago. Jeff also told his friend Marty to audition. So, if it wasn't for Jeff ..Marty would never been in Megadeth.

The two Christian Science songs were Mama Said and Leper Messiah. Mama Said is one of those songs that show Metallica are sellouts.

The main Christian science one was the "God that failed" on the Black album, I always took leper messiah to be about evangalists and Mama said is about Hetfields relationship with his mother...(which is a great song IMO.)
