Much respect to Chuck - Symbolic has been in almost constant rotation on my iPod for the last year or so.

long standing, card carrying, metalheads are ALWAYS gonna go with 'Death. Everyome made fun of Metallica at most of the metal shows I went to always chanted, and encouraged .."FUCK Metallica...FUCK Metallica...Fuggums". Of course I chanted along everytime..it was heartworming, beautiful experience. Many of us cried...Many were angry. That was nice.

Yeah, but they all had lobotomies.

I vote Megadeth for this alone.

I agree. They're good albums, they're just not Metallica albums.

BTW, I've been talking with Tim Calvert (Ex-Forbidden) . He's been talking with Jeff Loomis and Neil Kernon..and I'm having some very wishful thinking!

    Hail Yesterday!

    Thanks Dad!!

Tim Calvert was great on Twisted Into Form! I was not a Nevermore fan though....

And I guess we all know that Dimebag auditioned around the same time and was offered the job, but turned it down when he couldn't bring Vinnie in as well.

It's interesting to think how different they might have sounded if either of those guys had been in instead of Marty.

I said that years ago. Jeff also told his friend Marty to audition. So, if it wasn't for Jeff ..Marty would never been in Megadeth.

The main Christian science one was the "God that failed" on the Black album, I always took leper messiah to be about evangalists and Mama said is about Hetfields relationship with his mother...(which is a great song IMO.)

Either would have been an upgrade.
